Local shop supports school outdoor learning development

Head Boy, Samuel Sutton, and Head Girl, Guinevere Maggs, popped to the local Londis shop today to receive an amazing donation of £600 from Paul.  Paul has been raising funds for the school`s outdoor learning area (shed and friendship bench) over the last year, by asking customers to put their 5p for a plastic bag in the charity box – an amazing gesture of community support.

Headteacher, Karen Price, said that `its those little things that people do that make a big difference to our community and this donation will make a great difference to our outdoor learning areas – something we are currently focussing on for our children`.

Our thanks go to all families in the community who have `popped a penny or two` in the charity box – you have all helped!
