🥣 Sapphire soup kitchen 🥣
Well, this was a lovely event. Parents and grandparents from Sapphire class were invited to school today to sample soup and crumble made by the children as part of their DT learning. The children made invites, showed people to their seats, took orders, served food, provided tea and coffee, as well as clearing up afterwards,
Parents commented on how lovely the food was and how much they enjoyed sharing this with their children. On top of this, they generously donated another £394 to our minibus fundraiser - wow!
Well done to Mr Baird for such a lovely idea, Mrs Longhorn and Mrs Elliot for their tireless work in the kitchen, Mrs France for helping with setup and our children for being their wonderful selves!
