'Emerald Class had a great trip to Lancaster City Museum and Morecambe, learning about why visitors first came to Morecambe and thinking about how they would improve Morecambe for future visitors.'

They even bumped into Mr Gittins' Dad and Nana on Morecambe Prom - how exciting!

This week's Thursday thought comes from one of our lovely parents:

✝️Esther 4 v 14: ‘..And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this’

This is one of my favourite verses in the Bible. I love the story of Esther (have a read through it for the full context).

I want to encourage all of us, that no matter what we may have experienced, we’re not an accident. Each of us was born in God’s perfect timing and with a plan (adventure) that only we can realise. We can’t realise it through someone else….we can’t be someone else….we can be and do what He planned for us, in His perfect timing, ‘for such a time as this’.✝️

Have a fantastic day and never give up!

We had an impromptu concert in Prayer and Praise this morning.
Mr French played 'Shotgun' on his guitar while we all sang along! 🎸

The choir then performed two songs that they are singing next week at Young Voices. 🎵

Lovely.

We had a great time at the Y3/4 tri-golf yesterday. It was the first time any of us had been to Tri-golf and it was absolute joyful mayhem!!⛳

The children were brilliant and learnt new skills along the way, as well as many of them representing school for the first time!🏌🏿‍♀️🏌🏿‍♀️

Congratulations to team 'A' who finished 4th and team 'B' who came away with bronze medals. 🏆
Thank you to parents for transporting and supporting. Thank you to Trev at Heysham Golf Club for hosting and Tim Fletcher for organising such a lovely event.

Better late than never - here are last week's superstar VIPs! They have been amazing in everything they do and are superb role models of our Christian values.
Well done to you all!

A lovely write up of the choir's special day on Friday.
Don't forget, our KS2 children will be singing with Caton Primary School at Caton Gala on Saturday (1:30pm).
