Another wonderful morning on Warton Crag for our Y2 children - they’ve scrambled and sploshed and squelched their way round round the Crag, having a lovely time. Thank you to Phil BigAdventure for taking all our KS1 children out this week! Lovely!

A top afternoon on Warton Crag for Y2 group 2. It was wet, windy and muddy but we didn’t let that stop us exploring the Crag, scrambling up rocks and enjoying marshmallows in the woods. Thanks again to Phil BigAdventure for another great day out!

Another wonderful outing with Phil BigAdventure. Our Y1 children loved their Silverdale scramble and learned loads of interesting facts about the world around us, as well as scrambling over rocks and eating marshmallows. Top day!

Dance competition champions! 🏆 🏆
Last week, our KS2 dance troupe filmed and submitted their entry for a virtual dance competition: we received news on Friday that their dance had been judged the best of all the entries.

They finished with the most points in each of the four categories that were scored: concept and soundtrack, choreography and floor use, performance skills, overall impact. WOW!

💃🏻💃🏻 They now move on to dance at the Lancashire dance festival at Blackpool Winter Gardens - just like Strictly Come Dancing!

Well done to all who took part and big thanks to Miss Heap and Mrs Pollitt for choreography and organisation! 🕺🏽🕺🏽

Our KS2 inter-house cross country was a great success: children got muddy, tired, sweaty but all with big smiles and a great sense of competition. Well done to all who entered and to Mrs Pollitt who stood in the rain with a soggy clipboard!
