⚽ KS2 football ⚽

We had a lovely morning this morning at the KS2 Lune Valley competition held at Arkholme primary school. Our teams played with skill, sportsmanship and a smile on their faces! Well done to everyone who played, particularly those representing school for the first time.
We played well to win 2 matches and draw 2 others.

Top support by the parents as well, in muddy conditions - especially those who forgot their wellies.

🤸Y5/6 acro gymnastics 🤸

Our acro team had a great time at the Lune Valley cluster event yesterday. They showed true resilience and determination to choreograph and perform their own routines in front of a panel of judges.

Huge congratulations to Scarlet and Evie who won a silver medal for their routine and well done to the whole team who were only 0.1 of a mark away from an overall medal.

Top work by Mrs Pollitt and the children who have given up countless playtimes to prepare for this!

🕺🏾Y5/6 DANCE COMPETITION 🕺🏾

We did it again! Our Y5/6 dance troupe have qualified for the Lancashire dance festival for the second year running. We’re really impressed with how the children have choreographed and worked on their own routine, that includes everyone who wanted to take part.

We look forward to the County finals at the end of April in Blackpool. Well done to all children and thank you to Miss Heap and Mrs Pollitt for their hard work putting this together.

🛶 Y3 CANOEING 🛶

Another great day on the water at Borwick with BigAdventure. We have had a fantastic week of outdoor Ed with all our children in reception and Y3 enjoying the great outdoors.
Thank you to all staff who have facilitated this and well done to our children who have really pushed themselves this week.
