After watching an intense week of television one of our Year 5 children did not disappoint! Ronan Maher battled his way to come second place in the television programme Child Genius. He was up against children from all over the country from the ages of 9 to 12. Ronan, at only 9 years of age, answered questions throughout the week on spelling, mathematics and science, testing his memory skills by recalling a randomly shuffled deck of cards and memorising a whole bus route map of London, he was truly amazing and only got pipped by quicker buzzer technique in the final rather than intelligence! His caring, Christian attitude and approach shone through every round of the competition. We will be celebrating his success in Family Worship on Friday 8th September. Well done Ronan – an absolute superstar!!!
