Catch-up Funding

Because of worries about children ‘falling behind’ whilst in lockdown, the Government has committed to provide catch-up funding to each school: the school is then responsible to decide how this funding is spent and what the impact of this will be. At Caton St Paul’s, we have decided initially to spend our money on a mix of targeted intervention support, as well as resources that will be used to ensure all children make good progress. You will see in our action plan that not all money has been assigned as yet: our plan is to re-evaluate the effectiveness of our plan at Christmas and to update it accordingly. If you have any questions about the use of catch-up funding, please email for more details.
